About Anurak Law
Pension matters handled with care — one case at a time
We are a small Bangkok-based legal practice focused entirely on pension-related matters. Our approach is measured and thorough, with plain explanations at every stage.
Back to HomeOur Story
Started with a simple question: why is this so difficult to read?
Anurak Law was established in Bangkok with one observation in mind: pension documents in Thailand are often written in language that is hard to follow, even for people who have spent decades in the workforce. Retirees receiving their first statements would come to us not because something was necessarily wrong — but because they simply could not tell one way or the other.
That early pattern shaped how we built the practice. Rather than positioning ourselves as dispute lawyers first, we decided to start where most people actually start: with a document they do not fully understand. The Pension Statement Review grew out of that. It remains the service that most of our clients begin with.
Over the years, we have added Reassessment Preparation and Appeal Representation for those whose situations require a further step. Each service is offered at a fixed, stated price, with no pressure to take on anything beyond what is relevant to the person in front of us.
Our Mission
To make pension matters legible and manageable
We believe that a retiree should be able to understand what their pension statement says without needing a background in finance or law. Our job is to bridge that gap — to read the documents, explain the figures, and, where needed, take the formal steps that protect a person's position.
We work with individuals rather than organisations. Each case is reviewed on its own facts. We do not apply templates or rush the process to meet volume targets.

How We Work
Standards we hold to in every case
Thai Bar Council Registration
Our practice is registered with the Lawyers Council of Thailand. All legal work is conducted by qualified, licensed practitioners.
Strict client confidentiality
All documents and personal information shared with us are handled with full confidentiality and are not disclosed to third parties except where the process requires it.
Written scope before work begins
We confirm what is included in each service and the fee in writing before we begin. There are no surprises once work is underway.
Individual case review
We do not apply a generic process. Each situation is read carefully on its own facts before any course of action is recommended.
Plain-language updates
Progress is communicated in straightforward terms. We do not use legal jargon in client updates unless we also explain what the term means.
Realistic timelines
We give honest estimates of how long each stage is likely to take, including the parts that depend on government offices rather than on us.
Pension legal assistance in Bangkok — what that means in practice
The pension system in Thailand, whether through the Social Security Office or a government employer scheme, involves formal documents that are not always easy to interpret. Figures are presented using methods that make sense within the system, but can look confusing to someone reading them without that background.
Anurak Law works specifically in this area. We read pension statements and explain them. Where a discrepancy appears, we help prepare the documentation to request a formal reassessment. Where a pension decision has been refused or reduced, we assist with the appeal process, handling the paperwork and correspondence throughout.
We work with retirees, civil servants approaching retirement, and family members assisting an older relative. If the matter involves a Thai pension document and something about it does not sit right, we are a straightforward point of contact — without pressure to take any particular course of action.
